Franchisees also spend 80 hours in a store learning the ins and outs of the business. This includes proper preparation and service of our products. We host monthly check-ins to help franchisees meet their goals, offer assistance, and ensure they have all the tools necessary to improve their business every day.

The initial training at KTEC is just the beginning. During your two weeks of hands-on training, you will immerse yourself in the daily operations of a Cold Stone Creamery store. You will learn how to create our signature ice cream creations, manage inventory efficiently, and implement effective marketing strategies. This intensive training ensures that you are not only familiar with our products, but also confident in your ability to run your store.

The on-the-job training further solidifies your understanding of the business. By spending 80 hours in a real store environment, you gain practical experience that is invaluable for your future. Our monthly check-ins provide continuous support, ensuring that you are always on track and equipped to overcome any challenges that may arise.

Ongoing Training and Marketing Assistance

Cold Stone Creamery provides continuous support through regular meetings, and is always just a phone call away if franchisees have questions. Every new franchisee receives monthly check-in calls from a Regional Director of Operations or Area Developer to ensure ongoing support.

Our franchisees also benefit from access to in-house marketing and public relations teams, significantly reducing expenses. These teams assist with national, regional, and local marketing, as well as public relations from the grand opening through the life of the business. We train franchisees to manage their stores’ social media accounts, including Facebook®, Twitter®, and Instagram®.
