Consumers rank Cold Stone Best in Class Dessert, Top 10 for Taste and Top 50 for Customer Loyalty

Cold Stone Creamery® franchise is a crowd favorite when it comes to tasty dessert choices, and Cold Stone’s customers are among some of the most loyal in the entire restaurant industry, according to an annual survey by Nation’s Restaurant News (NRN).

Each year, NRN, the leading resource for business intelligence in the foodservice industry, partners with Datassential to survey restaurant consumers. They compile their findings into Consumer Picks, a comprehensive look at customer preference and restaurant brand strength.

For 2018, the Cold Stone Creamery franchise claims three important honors: Best in Class Dessert, Top 10 for taste and Top 50 for customer loyalty. With 88 percent of respondents rating Cold Stone “best in class” or “above average,” the brand ranks first among limited-service restaurants in the dessert category. Eighty-five percent of respondents rated Cold Stone “best in class” or “above average” for taste, and 45 percent of respondents said they visit Cold Stone because of a “real desire to experience the brand, as opposed to convenience.” The taste and loyalty ranks are among all restaurants, not just those offering limited service.
